Elles fournissent essentiellement des lignes directrices pour l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des performances des implants rachidiens dans diff\u00e9rents contextes anatomiques et avec diff\u00e9rentes m\u00e9thodes d&rsquo;application sur la colonne vert\u00e9brale.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ASTM_F1717_QUE_MESURE-T-ELLE\"><\/span>ASTM F1717 : QUE MESURE-T-ELLE ?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Les normes ASTM F1717 se concentrent sur <strong>l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des caract\u00e9ristiques m\u00e9caniques statiques et dynamiques des implants rachidiens<\/strong>. Les essais m\u00e9caniques associ\u00e9s sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s in vitro, \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de sch\u00e9mas de charge simplifi\u00e9s qui, bien qu&rsquo;incapables de reproduire avec pr\u00e9cision les charges complexes agissant sur la colonne vert\u00e9brale in vivo, permettent n\u00e9anmoins de comparer diff\u00e9rentes configurations d&rsquo;implants vert\u00e9braux en termes de param\u00e8tres m\u00e9caniques pertinents.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ASTM_F1717_CONDITIONS_DESSAI\"><\/span>ASTM F1717 : CONDITIONS D&rsquo;ESSAI<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, <strong> six sp\u00e9cimens<\/strong> sont test\u00e9s, avec deux blocs d&rsquo;UHMWPE utilis\u00e9s pour la fixation de l&rsquo;implant. La charge dynamique est effectu\u00e9e \u00e0 une <strong> fr\u00e9quence de 5 Hz <\/strong> et <strong>jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 5 millions de cycles.<\/strong> Les tests r\u00e9guliers sont effectu\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;air et <strong>\u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature ambiante<\/strong>. Toutefois, si le mat\u00e9riau de l&rsquo;implant n\u00e9cessite des configurations d&rsquo;essai simulant les conditions environnementales du corps \u00e0 37\u00b0C dans une solution saline, ces conditions sont prises en compte.<\/p>\n<p>La norme d\u00e9crit quatre proc\u00e9dures d&rsquo;essai : la flexion par compression axiale statique et dynamique, la flexion par tension statique et la torsion statique.
