La machine d&rsquo;essai est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;une traverse qui se d\u00e9place \u00e0 une vitesse d\u00e9termin\u00e9e, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement comprise <strong>entre 1 et 500 mm\/min<\/strong>. Lorsque la machine exerce une tension sur l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon, diverses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s du mat\u00e9riau sont mesur\u00e9es, notamment sa r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la contrainte, \u00e0 la d\u00e9formation et \u00e0 l&rsquo;allongement. L&rsquo;essai se poursuit jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon c\u00e8de, indiquant une d\u00e9formation permanente, ou atteigne son point de rupture. L&rsquo;ISO 527-1 \u00e9tablit les lignes directrices fondamentales pour l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de traction des mat\u00e9riaux plastiques dans des conditions sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9es. La norme d\u00e9finit diff\u00e9rentes g\u00e9om\u00e9tries pour les essais, fournissant ainsi un cadre complet. Il est essentiel de s\u00e9lectionner la norme ISO 527 sp\u00e9cifique qui correspond au mat\u00e9riau en question.
