deux supports, de sorte que l&rsquo;\u00e9prouvette est sollicit\u00e9e en <strong>trois points de contact <\/strong> : les deux supports et le point d&rsquo;application de la charge.<\/p>\n<p>Ce test mesure principalement <strong> deux param\u00e8tres de base<\/strong> : le <strong>module de flexion<\/strong>, qui indique la rigidit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau sous une contrainte de flexion, et la <strong>r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la flexion<\/strong>, qui est la charge maximale que le mat\u00e9riau peut supporter avant de se rompre ou de se d\u00e9former de mani\u00e8re permanente.<\/p>\n<p>La norme est essentielle pour \u00e9valuer le comportement m\u00e9canique des plastiques dans les applications o\u00f9 les contraintes de flexion sont critiques, telles que les composants structurels, les bo\u00eetiers et les pi\u00e8ces de machines.<br \/> En outre, la norme ISO 178 fournit des lignes directrices pr\u00e9cises sur la taille des \u00e9prouvettes, les vitesses d&rsquo;essai, les conditions environnementales et les calculs \u00e0 effectuer pour garantir la r\u00e9p\u00e9tabilit\u00e9 et la comparabilit\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Que_mesure_la_norme_ISO_178\"><\/span>Que mesure la norme ISO 178 ?<br \/><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>L&rsquo;ISO 178 mesure les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques de flexion des plastiques, fournissant des donn\u00e9es essentielles pour comprendre comment un mat\u00e9riau r\u00e9agit \u00e0 une contrainte de flexion.<br \/> En particulier, les <strong>principaux param\u00e8tres mesur\u00e9s<\/strong> sont les suivants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Module de flexion<\/strong> (ou module d&rsquo;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9) : indique la rigidit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau lors d&rsquo;une d\u00e9formation \u00e9lastique sous une charge de flexion.<br \/> Il s&rsquo;agit du rapport entre la contrainte de flexion et l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de d\u00e9formation, et repr\u00e9sente la capacit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la flexion sans subir de d\u00e9formation permanente.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la flexion<\/strong> : c&rsquo;est la valeur maximale de la contrainte que le mat\u00e9riau peut supporter avant de se rompre ou de subir une d\u00e9formation plastique permanente.<br \/> Cette valeur est cruciale pour la conception de composants soumis \u00e0 des charges de flexion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>D\u00e9formation en flexion<\/strong> : mesure la quantit\u00e9 de d\u00e9formation ou de d\u00e9placement subie par l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon sous charge, utile pour \u00e9valuer la ductilit\u00e9 ou la fragilit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>L&rsquo;objectif <\/strong> est d&rsquo;amener <strong>l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon \u00e0 se d\u00e9former jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la rupture<\/strong> ou, si cela ne se produit pas, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;une d\u00e9formation en flexion de 5 % soit atteinte.<\/p>\n<p>La norme ISO 178 sp\u00e9cifie \u00e9galement <strong>deux m\u00e9thodes d&rsquo;essai<\/strong> : la <strong>m\u00e9thode A<\/strong>, qui implique une vitesse de d\u00e9formation constante tout au long de l&rsquo;essai, et la <strong>m\u00e9thode B<\/strong>, qui commence avec une vitesse et l&rsquo;augmente une fois que la r\u00e9gion \u00e9lastique initiale <strong>exigences de pr\u00e9cision bien d\u00e9finies<\/strong>, tant en ce qui concerne le contr\u00f4le du mouvement que la configuration de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement d&rsquo;essai.<\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00e9cision du mouvement de la barre transversale doit \u00eatre telle qu&rsquo;elle permette une <strong>r\u00e9solution d&rsquo;au moins 1 % de la d\u00e9formation en flexion<\/strong> utilis\u00e9e pour le calcul du module d&rsquo;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>vitesses d&rsquo;essai <\/strong> standard sont les suivantes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1 mm\/min<\/strong> pour des \u00e9paisseurs d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillons comprises entre 1 mm et 3,5 mm<\/li>\n<li>La norme autorise une <strong> tol\u00e9rance de \u00b120%<\/strong> sur ces vitesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour mesurer la force, les <strong>capteurs de pesage<\/strong> doivent offrir une <strong>sensibilit\u00e9 et une r\u00e9solution \u00e9lev\u00e9es<\/strong>, en accord avec la pr\u00e9cision requise pour le calcul du module d&rsquo;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;autres param\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ISO_178_%E2%80%93_Equipement_requis\"><\/span>ISO 178 &#8211; \u00c9quipement requis<br \/><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Les essais conformes \u00e0 la norme ISO 178 sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des <strong>bancs d&rsquo;essai<\/strong>, car les forces requises sont relativement faibles.<br \/> La machine d&rsquo;essai doit pouvoir maintenir une <strong>vitesse constante comprise entre 1 et 500 mm\/min<\/strong>, tout en respectant les tol\u00e9rances sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9es dans la norme.<br \/> Le dispositif de mesure de la force (cellule de charge) doit \u00eatre conforme \u00e0 la classe 1 de la norme ISO 7500-1 pour la gamme de force utilis\u00e9e.<br \/> Il est donc essentiel que le laboratoire connaisse pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment les forces minimales et maximales \u00e0 appliquer, afin de s\u00e9lectionner un capteur de pesage adapt\u00e9, tant en termes de capacit\u00e9 que de plage de v\u00e9rification.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;<strong>\u00e9quipement pour l&rsquo;essai de flexion trois
