spessore di ciascun campione, quindi posizionare il campione nelle morse della macchina di prova, assicurando un allineamento corretto, e stringere saldamente le morse senza schiacciare il campione. Eventualmente, collegare l&#8217;indicatore di estensione con un estensometro quando \u00e8 necessario determinare il modulo elastico. Impostare la velocit\u00e0 di prova e avviare il test. <br \/> Registrare la curva carico-estensione del provino e documentare il carico e l&#8217;estensione al punto di snervamento (se esiste) e al momento della rottura.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ASTM_D638_%E2%80%93_CAMPIONI\"><\/span>ASTM D638 &#8211; CAMPIONI<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>I campioni utilizzati nelle prove ASTM D638 sono tipicamente a <strong>forma di manubrio<\/strong>, con una lunghezza del calibro di 25 mm o 50 mm (consigliata). I requisiti specifici sono: un&#8217;accuratezza assoluta di 10 \u03bcm per una lunghezza del calibro di 50 mm e un&#8217;accuratezza relativa entro \u00b10,5% per la misurazione del modulo di elasticit\u00e0 a trazione, come previsto dalla norma ASTM D638.<\/p>\n<p>Per un allungamento superiore al punto di snervamento ma inferiore al 20%, \u00e8 necessaria una precisione assoluta di 50 \u03bcm per una lunghezza del calibro di 50 mm e una precisione relativa entro l&#8217;1%.
