un controllore fisico o un sistema hardware a un modello virtuale in tempo reale che simula il sistema che \u00e8 stato progettato per controllare. Questo \u201cloop\u201d consente agli ingegneri di testare gli algoritmi di controllo come se stessero interagendo con il sistema reale, ma senza la necessit\u00e0 dell&#8217;hardware vero e proprio. I componenti del sistema interagiscono con la simulazione tramite interfacce di input e output, creando una perfetta integrazione tra l&#8217;ambiente virtuale e quello fisico.<\/p>\n<p>Una tipica configurazione HIL \u00e8 costituita da tre componenti principali:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Hardware del controllore<\/strong>: Si tratta dell&#8217;hardware vero e proprio che contiene il software di controllo, in genere sviluppato per un sistema specifico come l&#8217;unit\u00e0 di controllo del motore (ECU) in un contesto automobilistico.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modello di impianto<\/strong>: Si tratta di una simulazione in tempo reale che riproduce il sistema fisico controllato. Sviluppo conveniente<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Uno dei vantaggi pi\u00f9 significativi della simulazione HIL \u00e8 la riduzione dei costi. Testare prototipi reali, in particolare in settori come quello aerospaziale o automobilistico, pu\u00f2 essere proibitivo. I costi di costruzione, manutenzione e gestione degli ambienti di test fisici, per non parlare del rischio di danneggiare hardware costoso durante i test, possono rapidamente accumularsi. L&#8217;HIL elimina gran parte di queste spese consentendo di eseguire i test in un ambiente virtuale.<\/p>\n<p>Ad esempio, nello sviluppo dei motori a reazione, l&#8217;utilizzo di un motore fisico per ogni test non \u00e8 solo costoso ma anche poco pratico. Un singolo motore a reazione pu\u00f2 costare milioni di dollari, mentre un sistema HIL ad alta fedelt\u00e0 progettato per simulare l&#8217;intero motore pu\u00f2 essere costruito per una frazione di quel costo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.
