DYNAMIC AND FATIGUE SYSTEMS
At STEP Lab, we provide an extensive array of systems designed for dynamic and fatigue testing capabilities of up to 200 kN. Our planar biaxial cruciform testing systems are engineered for precision and versatility in material evaluation, featuring high-stiffness annular load frames and four innovative actuators. This design allows for precise control of material behavior under a variety of stress conditions, making them ideal for two-axis tensile, low-cycle fatigue (LCF), high-cycle fatigue (HCF), thermo-mechanical fatigue (TMF), and fracture testing.
Our user-friendly Test Center software ensures synchronized operation across all axes, seamless PC integration, enabling waveform generation, calibration, and performance monitoring.
The cruciform test bench can be requested with both electromechanical and electrodynamic actuators.
TWO VARIANTS: UD and EA
Linear motor actuators
Suitable for tests requiring accelerations of tens of G, frequencies of 500 Hz and continuous loads of 100 kN with peaks of 120 kN.
Electromechanical actuators
Suitable for tests with accelerations up to 2 G with dynamic loads up to 200kN and are versatile for multi-actuator applications.
