BrochureA unique feature of materials testing is the biaxial tensile test, or two-axis
tensile test, which is used to determine the deformation properties of the
material. It is primarily employed in research, development in biomedical
application, as it allows defined stress values to be set and investigated
at the intersection point of the specimen.

Most engineering structures are affected by complex multi-axial stresses that arise from load inhomogeneity, geometry and material. However, laboratory tests mainly use different types of loading regimes, which include creep, static and fatigue tests, simple specimens that are subjected to uniaxial stress states. Due to the difference between uniaxial test design data and the functional behaviour of components with multiaxial forces, much research work has been conducted to ensure an adequate understanding of this relationship.

THE CRUCIFORM TEST BENCH CAN BE REQUESTED WITH BOTH ELECTROMECHANICAL AND ELECTRODYNAMIC ACTUATOR
